Vitalize Your True Life

Performance

Built to Perform. Designed to Last.

Performance isn't reserved for professionals.

Maybe you're stepping onto a competition floor. Maybe you're preparing for your next powerlifting meet, BJJ tournament, bodybuilding show, or endurance event. Or maybe you simply want to become stronger, faster, more capable, and harder to break down.

Whatever performance means to you, the foundation is the same: Your body has to be able to support the demands you place on it.

VYTL Performance brings medical care into that equation, looking at the factors that influence how you train, recover, adapt, and perform.

PERFORMANCE IS MORE THAN TRAINING

The Work You Do in the Gym Is Only Part of the Equation.

Training creates the stimulus. What happens outside of training determines how well your body can respond to it.

Hormones. Nutrition. Sleep. Recovery. Metabolic health. Stress. Body composition. Lifestyle.

These systems don't operate independently, and performance can suffer when one of them falls out of balance.

VYTL Performance is designed to help identify the factors that may be influencing how you feel and function, then use that information to build a more informed strategy.

Train with purpose. Recover with intention. Perform with confidence.
MEET JORDAN BUCHLA, DNP, FNP-C

She Doesn't Just Study Performance. She Lives It.

Jordan Buchla is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose clinical focus includes performance and recovery, hormone optimization, metabolic and weight management, and peptide-based therapies.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Jordan spent five years working as a registered nurse in a high-acuity trauma emergency department throughout the COVID-19 pandemic while simultaneously pursuing her doctoral education.

Outside of medicine, she has spent years competing at the highest levels of powerlifting.

Jordan has:

  • Set two world records in her weight class
  • Squatted 855 pounds
  • Bench pressed 545 pounds
  • Been ranked #2 in the world all-time, regardless of weight class
  • Been inducted into the Connecticut Powerlifting Hall of Fame
  • Built a career combining clinical medicine, personal training, and physical rehabilitation
  • Become owner of Hellbent Barbell, a powerlifting gym in Bridgeport, CT

Her experience gives her a perspective that can't be learned from a textbook alone.

She understands what it means to train when you're tired. To recover between hard sessions. To manage the demands of competition. To pursue progress over years rather than weeks.

And she understands the medical side of the equation just as deeply.

Clinical expertise. Competitive experience. One perspective on performance.
PERFORMANCE MEDICINE

For People Who Expect More From Their Bodies.

VYTL Performance is designed for individuals who take their physical capabilities seriously. That may include:

  • Powerlifters
  • BJJ & combat athletes
  • Bodybuilders
  • Endurance athletes
  • Strength & conditioning athletes
  • Competitive athletes
  • High-level recreational athletes
  • Anyone committed to becoming more capable

You don't have to compete to belong here. Performance can mean preparing for a competition, or simply wanting your body to keep up with the life you lead.

WHAT WE LOOK AT

The Variables Behind Performance.

Performance is influenced by more than your training program. Depending on your goals and clinical needs, VYTL may evaluate areas such as:

Hormones

Hormonal health can influence energy, recovery, body composition, strength, and overall function.

Metabolic Health

Metabolic health plays an important role in energy availability, body composition, and long-term performance.

Recovery

Sleep, stress, nutrition, training load, and other factors can influence your ability to recover between sessions.

Body Composition

Strength-to-weight ratio and body composition can matter significantly depending on your sport and goals.

Nutrition & Lifestyle

What happens outside the gym can have a direct impact on what happens inside it.

Health & Longevity

The objective isn't simply to perform well this season. It's to build a body capable of performing for years to come.

PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENTS

Know What You're Working With.

You can't optimize what you haven't evaluated.

VYTL Performance Assessments are designed to give you a clearer understanding of the health and performance factors relevant to your goals.

Your assessment may incorporate laboratory testing, health history, lifestyle factors, training demands, body composition, recovery, and other measures depending on the type of evaluation.

The purpose isn't to hand you another generic checklist. It's to identify where attention may be most valuable.

PERFORMANCE PACKAGES

Medical Support for the Work You’re Already Putting In.

VYTL is developing performance-focused packages for individuals who want a deeper level of medical support alongside their training.

These offerings will be designed for different performance goals and levels of commitment, with an emphasis on:

Assessment • Strategy • Recovery • Performance • Progress

Specific performance packages and assessments will be tailored to the needs of the individual and may evolve as your goals change.

THE VYTL PERFORMANCE APPROACH

Evaluate. Strategize. Execute. Adapt.

01 — EVALUATE

Start with a clear understanding of your health, current state, training demands, and goals.

02 — STRATEGIZE

Use the information gathered to identify areas that may deserve attention and establish a plan.

03 — EXECUTE

Put the strategy into practice alongside your training, nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle.

04 — ADAPT

Performance isn't static. Your body, training, and goals change. Your strategy should be able to change with them.

PERFORMANCE WITHOUT THE SHORTCUTS

We Care About What Happens After the PR.

A bigger number on the bar is exciting. So is winning a competition.

But performance that comes at the expense of your health isn't performance optimization.

VYTL takes a long-term view. We want to help you pursue ambitious goals while keeping health, recovery, and longevity in the conversation.

Because the best performance strategy isn't the one that gets you through one event. It's the one that keeps you capable of doing what you love for years to come.

WHY VYTL?

Performance Medicine From Someone Who Understands the Demands.

Jordan's experience at the intersection of medicine and elite strength sport gives VYTL Performance a perspective that is difficult to replicate.

This isn't about turning every patient into an athlete. It's about recognizing that performance is personal.

For one person, it may mean competing at the highest level. For another, it may mean getting stronger at 45, returning to training after years away, improving recovery, or simply refusing to let age dictate what their body can do.

Wherever you are starting, VYTL can help you build toward what comes next.

READY TO SEE WHAT YOU'RE CAPABLE OF?
You don't have to be a professional athlete to take your performance seriously.

Whether you're preparing for competition or simply looking to become stronger, healthier, and more capable, VYTL Performance starts with understanding where you are today.

Train harder. Recover smarter. Build for the long run.
